Wakei IwagamiHead Priest of Komyoji Temple Tokyo. Born in 1963 in Tokyo, Mr. Iwagami graduated in Literature from The University of Tokyo. He is currently an Associate Professor in Musashino University; a Guest Researcher of Jodo Shinshu Studies and Research Center.

Shunkei Iwaguma

Haruo IwagumaA Priest of Komyoji Temple Tokyo. Born in 1944 in Fukuoka, Mr. Iwaguma graduated with his B.A. degree in Law from Kyushu University and his MBA degree from Keio Business School. He is also a certified internal auditor(CIA). As his career, after he worked for a major international oil company, he is currently a board member of a M&A advisory and hotel management company. His hobbies are Japanese Tea Ceremony, swimming and walking. As a Buddhist Priest, he has finished the correspondence course in the School of Buddhism in Hongwanji Temple.

Koshi Kawanishi

Koshi KawanishiA Priest of Komyoji Temple Tokyo. Born in 1960 in Hiroshima, Mr. Kawanishi graduated with his B.A. degree in Politics and Economics from Waseda University. He is a novelist and started his career at university in the name of "Ran Kawanishi". He is currently a member of Japan Literature Academy. He became a Buddhist Priest in Hongwanji Temple in 1999 and has been a Priest in Komyoji Temple Tokyo since 2008.

Seikyo Hidaka

Seikyo HidakaA Priest of Gannyuji Temple in Shimane prefecture. He is a Preaching Teacher of Hongwanji Temple. Born in 1973 in Hiroshima, Mr. Hidaka graduated with his B.A. degree in Languages from Kobe University of Foreign Studies. He worked for Japanese Embassy in Russia and joined Japan-Russia forum as a Research Assistant of the Research and Development Institute. As a Buddhist Priest, he graduated Hongwanji Buddhism School of Tokyo and finished several professional trainings.

Yuken Kihara

Yuken KiharaA Priest of Komyoji Temple Tokyo. Born in 1978 in Kanagawa, Mr. Kihara graduated with his B.A. degree in Social Science from Hosei University. Since the beginning of Kamiyacho Open Terrace, he has served for people in a community as the Manager. After he became a Buddhist Priest in Hongwanji Temple, he currently studies in Hongwanji Buddhism School of Tokyo. His hobbies are listening music and cooking Japanese sweets.

Shokei Matsumoto

Shokei MatsumotoA Priest of Komyoji Temple Tokyo. Born in 1979 in Hokkaido, Mr. Matsumoto graduated with his B.A. degree in Literature from The University of Tokyo. In 2008 Komyoji Young Buddhist Association, which he has served as head of, was awarded "Shoriki Matsutaro Prize" from a foundation for education. He is also a member of Virtual Temple "HIGANJI". Now he is temporarily out of work to study in India.

Chikou IwagamiHead Priest of Komyoji Temple Chiba. Born in 1936 in Tokyo, Mr. Iwagami graduated with M.A. degree in Philosophy from The University of Tokyo. He served as a Professor in Tsuruga Women Junior College, Chairman of Hongwanji Congress, President of All Japan Buddhist Foundation, Standing Director of Ryukoku University. He is currently a Member of Hongwanji Congress, an Exective Board Member of Musashino University.

Taishu Iwagami

Taishu IwagamiA Priest of Komyoji Temple Chiba. He is a professor in faculty of law at Heisei International University. Prof.Iwagami also serves as a lecturer at Keio University. Prior to these, He taught politics at Hokuriku University and Local Autonomy College. Born in 1966 in Tokyo,received his B.A.and M.A.degree in Law from Keio University and also finished Ph.D program.

Born in 1970 in Tokyo, Mr. Iwagami graduated with his B.A. in History from Gakushuin University and with his M.A in History from Ryukoku University. He is a Preaching Teacher of Hongwanji Temple. He served as the former president of Junior Chamber in Soka city. He and his wife moved to Soka city nine years ago and in 2009 their temple was completed with support from its members and supporters. His hobbies are reading novels, driving and watching sports.
